September Newsletter – What’s New With #TeamQube

“The hottest new adventure in Essex! GO APE Chelmsford”

We are ready for lift off on our Go Ape Reception building.
We are super close to delivering our first modular reception building to Hylands Park in Essex.
If you visit the park, please take a photo with our building and send directly to the team! We’d love to see how many people we can spot.

Well done to everyone involved in this generous reception space and we are all looking forward the start of a great partnership with Go Ape.

Our Project Manager, Mason Whiting, successfully handed over the brand-new nursery building at Spalding Primary School earlier this month.

The Qube had extremely tight time frames to adhere to with the existing nursery building needing to be demolished and with children ready to move back in September… there really was no room for error and #TeamQube were delighted to get this project over the line.
Congratulations to Mason for ensuring Spalding Primary School had their new teaching space ready in time.

Full case study to follow

Good Luck Billy!

Our very own Billy started his Carpentry Apprenticeship this month at Northampton College.
Good Luck, Billy, we can’t wait to have you on full-time and develop into a great chippy 🪵

Networking…

Lauren, our Business & Communications Manager, attended the before hours networking event with The Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce. This was followed by a walk around the exhibition to spot some similar faces and a fabulous Q&A with Frank Bruno himself.  We hope to see more people out and about as we pick up our networking game!

Project Progress at Bedford College.

Designed to be ‘Net Zero in Operation’.

Here’s how we’ve been getting on..

Groundworks – Consisting of foundations excavated and concrete poured, oversite levels brought up to accommodate building layout. External block & brick walls completed and installation of block and beam floor internally ✔️

Structure – SIP walls and roof panels are erected✔️

Internal 1st fix ongoing – Stud walls, internal VCL and battening to perimeter walls.

Mechanical and Electrical 1st fix ongoing- including a solar array and MVHR system.

We can’t wait to share more of this with you all!

#TeamQube didn’t take home the winning trophy but it’s the taking part that counts. ⛳
The whole event has now raised more than £20k. Cynthia Spencer’s biggest golf day fundraiser to date!
This is over 40 days worth of care for patients who are being supported by the hospice.
We can’t wait for next year!
